At Shining Moon Healing Arts we value your privacy and take the protection of your information seriously.  This privacy policy applies to data collected by us in relation to your use of the website.

This information is collected when you provide the details to me to enquire about services offered or other information regarding my website or general enquiries.

Please note that we use a third party (Mail Chimp) for our marketing purposes however your information will not be shared with any other third party outside our arrangement with Mail Chimp.  You will have the option to unsubscribe at any time you no longer wish to receive marketing and newsletters from us.

In addition, on receiving services you may be required to complete a health questionnaire.  This information is not shared with a third party and is intended to ensure that support can be provided to enable you to get the most out of your session with us.

Data will be retained for a period as permitted by law, and for insurance purposes in the case of health questionnaires.  Personal details held for marketing purposes will be removed should services be unsubscribed.

Your rights:

1. Right to access – you have the right to request copies of the information we hold about you at any time or that we modify, update or delete information held.  There is no charge for data requested unless the request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’.

2. Right to ease – if you request that data is deleted or removed from our systems this will be actioned (please note above regarding data retained as per law and for insurance purposes above)

3. Right to correct – if data held is inaccurate or incomplete you can request that it is corrected.

4. Right to portability – you can request that your data is moved, copied or transferred

Please keep us informed if there are any changes to the data we hold about you so that we can ensure it is accurate and up to date.
